Terms of Service

Unbriefd is a workflow for turning transcript-style input into a structured client brief, collecting payment for the finished brief, and generating a downloadable PDF with a share link.

By accessing or using Unbriefd, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or through links you control.

• You must provide a valid email address to access account features.
• You must keep one-time sign-in codes, active sessions, and brief share links secure.
• You may not use the service to impersonate another person or organisation.

You retain responsibility for the transcript text, uploaded source material, and instructions you submit to Unbriefd.

• You represent that you have the right to upload, paste, process, and share the materials you submit.
• You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transform, store, and deliver that material as part of operating the service.
• You remain responsible for confirming that the final brief is accurate, complete, and appropriate before sharing it with a client.

Unbriefd uses third-party AI systems to extract and structure briefs. AI output is assistive, not authoritative.

• Generated briefs may contain errors, omissions, weak inferences, or formatting mistakes.
• You are responsible for reviewing flags, editing content, and approving the final brief before PDF generation or client sharing.
• We do not guarantee that any AI-generated output is legally sufficient, commercially complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

Payment is collected through Stripe once a brief reaches the payment-ready stage.

• Review the brief carefully before paying and again before clicking Approve and generate PDF.
• Approval triggers final PDF generation and delivery through a public share link. This action is permanent.
• Card processing is handled by Stripe under Stripe's own terms and policies.

Refunds: if PDF generation fails due to a technical error on our part and cannot be resolved, we will issue a full refund for that brief. Refunds are not available for dissatisfaction with AI output after you have approved and generated the final PDF.

Final PDF delivery is link-based. Anyone with the live share link can access and download the brief PDF.

• Treat share links as confidential unless you intend them to be public.
• You are responsible for deciding who receives a share link.
• We are not responsible for access caused by forwarding, copying, or publishing a valid link.
• If a link is shared unintentionally, contact us at support@unbriefd.com and we can deactivate it.

Briefs and their associated PDFs are permanently deleted immediately upon your request. This action cannot be undone and we cannot recover deleted content.

You are responsible for downloading or saving any brief you wish to retain before deleting it.

You may not use Unbriefd for unlawful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, or security-harming activity.

• No illegal content, malware, phishing, or attempts to interfere with the platform.
• No use that violates the privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or contractual rights of others.
• No attempts to probe, scrape, overload, or bypass platform safeguards.

Unbriefd is provided on an as is and as available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted service, permanent availability of drafts or PDFs, or error-free AI output.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost revenue, lost business, lost data, or client disputes arising from your use of the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Unbriefd will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create legal, operational, or security risk.
